Trainer, self-employed. — 1990-Present.
I have been providing training and consultancy on electronic publishing systems
for this period. Software products include: Quark XPress, Adobe InDesign,
Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat and web design applications.
I also train in OSX and Troubleshooting I am also familiar with a wide range
of other software products and processes. In the main, I have originated
my own courseware.
Designer/Illustrator, self employed. — 1989-Present
I have functioned successfully as a freelance designer/illustrator for many
years now. Clients are corporate and charity based. I produce the originals
and manage the print production process. I also project manage exhibitions
and festivals.
Production Manager - Future Publishing — 1987-1989
Managed the production of approx 30 magazines.
Trainer/Training Designer, Dixons Group plc — 1980-1987 Responsible
for originating training materials, delivering courses and courseware.
Writer of DixRef - the hands on guide for shop managers and staff.
Writer/designer of instructional material and books.
Trainer, Dixons Photographic — 1976-1980
Field-based trainer for shop staff. Also managed three shops in this period. |
