Stereoscopic projects

Three dimensional film a has been a passion for years. I mis-spent a large chunk of my time at Art School researching and developing systems.

I have written articles, shot film and made 3-D pictures. I own a number of 3-D cameras.

Systems that I have experiemented with include (mainly) anaglyphs, polarised, lenticular. I have also experimented with curved and domed screens. Of course in those days I didn't know what a patent was, let alone how you got one or what they cost; so most of this is just a footnote in history.

I found the domed screen the most interesting. At that time as a student in the seventies, I didn't have access to all tools that I needed to do this totally successfully, but it was exciting to see IMAX and others have used this in theme parks as a totally immersive experiance.
